Born on February 12, 1967 in Cape Dorset, Bochu Pudlat is the son of carver Mangituk Kellypellik.

Bochu is inspired by the land that surrounds him, and is most inclined to carve bears, walrus and human figures. His preferred medium is stone from the Cape Dorset region.

Apart from carving, Bochu is a hunter and fisher and enjoys time with his child and family.
