Donald Peters was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, in 1960. He began painting when he was 23 years-old, training with some of the most renowned Plains artists of our time. His teachers include Garry Meeches, Isaac Bignell, Sweetpea Nielson, Eddy Cobiness, and Clemence Westcoupe.

Donald’s artistic creations primarily consist of original acrylic paintings on paper and canvas. His work is collected throughout both Canada and the United States, and was exhibited at the World’s Fair in Brisbane in Australia in 1988.
