Kellipalik Qimirpik was born December 16, 1948 in Iqirasaq. He has been studying and working within Inuit Sculpture for many years and has exhibited extensively throughout North America and internationally. In 2002, one of his inukshuk was installed in Battery Park (Toronto) to commemorate World Youth Day.

Kellipalik is a true artist: innovative and dedicated to the art form. Fascinated by the spirit world, his art often reflects the human/spirit relationship. His work often imparts transformation and his figures float within a multi-imaged composition.

Kellipalik is a renowned master sculptor, dedicated to his artistic pursuit and via his students he continues to pass on his cultural and artist information.
