Acrylic paint on Board

This fun little painting depicts Raven and Eagle as they circle around a happy face. If one looks at the piece closely, one can see the faint outline of a sad face underneath. According to Corrine, this is meant to show how sad Raven and Eagle used to be when they were alone, and how happy they are now that they’ve found each other.

Like many of the artworks in her most recent exhibition, Kapiguxw’id: Iklegans dudakwo | Gathering: It’s good to see you [again], this piece was inspired by Corrine’s daughter, who is a major source of joy in her life.
