Description | Cape Dorset Noah Jaw was born in 1976 in Cape Dorset, Nunavut. He comes from an extensive family of artists in stone and graphics. His father is Mathew Saviadjuk Jaw, a carver as well as former Mayor of Cape Dorset. Both Noah’s brothers, Kellipalik Jaw and Ricky Jaw, are also carvers. His aunt is graphic artist Geelia Jaw.
